Forest School
In Forest School, we linked our learning to our D&T topic of structures and built our own den’s using tarpaulin, string and the resources available to us in the Forest. Our den had to have a roof and had to be big enough to fit our group in.
In Forest School, we linked our learning to Literacy and D&T and made stick houses for one of the Three Little Pigs using an A-frame structure as the base. Some of us got very creative and added in gardens, swimming pools and slides!
Science
In Science, our topic is materials. So far this term we have sorted objects in the classroom according to their material, investigated different materials and how we can bend, stretch and squash them, and hunted for materials in the playground.
