Our spring term competition invites all pupils from St. Leonard’s to create a poem about their aspirations for the future! We would like you to think carefully about your hopes and dreams and create a poem about your ambitions.
There's lots of fun to be had writing your poem and here are a few ideas to help inspire you...
You could write an acrostic poem, a riddle or a rhyming poem. Your poem might make us laugh, make us imagine and hopefully make us smile. We welcome your poems in any style or format up to thirty lines.
Every year group is invited to take part and winners will be announced on the website and WWO.
Please give your entry (clearly labelled with your name and class) to Mrs Johnston (Year 5) or hand it in to the school office by 22/03/21. The entries which receive first, second and third place will be shown on the website.
